About Me
Lucky Eye Ink is more than just a brand, it's me, Lindsey Roussel; a strange, fun, and occasionally witty artist who's love of tattoos and traditional art has turned into creating what is, most of the time, uncomfortable weirdness... But there's nothing in this world I'd love to do more.
In 2020 my work started to take off a bit and has become what it is today: Thick outlines, bright colors, and (in most cases) drawing human legs on things that absolutely should not have human legs...
The meaning behind the vast majority of my work is simply, fun. I enjoy creating work that makes others laugh, smile, and bring out the awkward in us all.
TLDR: I like thick outlines, bright colors, and putting legs on stuff.
By day I'm a full time artist and by night I'm the co-curator and director for ArtBar Batavia. Stay up to date on local ArtBar shows on here and come check us out every Second Friday at Sidecar Supper Club & Beer Garden in Batavia, IL.
On top of all that I co-host a podcast called Feral Art Gang with Sean of Very Powerful Dice. Find us on Spotify and Apple Podcasts to listen to our feral rants about being working artists and makers.
If you're interested in a custom commission please check out my Instagram to see if I'm accepting commissions and then DM me through there. I can not promise that I will accept all commissions even if they are open, it all depends on if I think I can confidently execute the request.
